Bishop and Carol Shelby

Bishop Shelby is the founder of Sarasota Family Worship Center.  Bishop Shelby and wife Carol felt the call to come and start a new church in Sarasota in 1993.  After much prayer the Shelby's resigned from the church in Chicago and loaded everything they owned and came to Sarasota where they knew no one.  The Lord blessed and provided a building and people who were dedicated to working for the Lord.  In 16 years the church, Family Worship Center, has had many families come and receive salvation and healing for their spirit and souls.  Bishop Shelby is also the Florida District Superintendant for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Bro. and Sis. Charles Fandale are serving as the ministers to the Spanish  at Family Worship Center.  On Sunday services there are translators who interpret the service using headsets.  Bro. Fandale also leads an all Spanish service on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm.  This service is totally in Spanish.  The music and singing is annointed and in Spanish.  How beautiful it is to hear the worship going forth in Spanish.  If you are looking for a Spanish service please get in contact with Bro.
